About Us

Margaret B. Hennessy, as Principal, brings 30 years of experience in health care to Hennessy Consulting Inc. Prior to her work as a consultant, she held key administrative positions with an academic medical center, an FQHC and a research and social services agency. Margaret brings hands-on operational experience to consulting with her expertise in management, operational and financial analysis, strategic and business planning and grant administration.

Margaret earned her undergraduate degree from St. Norbert’s College in Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Health Systems Management from Rush University in Chicago. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association and Chicago Health Executives Forum. She served on the Health Economics Resource Committee of the National Institutes of Health.

A project is staffed based on client requirements. Some assignments require a sole consultant or project manager to augment internal staff. Larger projects may require multiple members of our team. Team members are selected based their specific area of expertise.
